Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Continues to Make Moves With Latest Trademark Filing

Lamar Jackson is all about that action.

After declining a contract extension with the Baltimore Ravens this preseason, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is trying to figure out whatā€™s next, according to ESPN. Ā The Baltimore Ravens drafted Jackson in 2018 as the 32 Ā pick. Now, he is entering his fifth year in the league, and he’ll most likely be franchised tag next season.Ā  Based on the ESPN report, a source told the sports news outlet that the deal was worth over $250 million, with $133 million guaranteed at signing. Sources told ESPN that Jackson wanted a deal similar to Deshaun Watson, fully guaranteed at signing.

ā€œIt was a pretty big risk last season. The year before,ā€ Jackson said in a press statement. ā€œIā€™m just playing football. Anything can happen. God forbid the wrong thing happens.ā€

Just because his future in Baltimore is very much in limbo, it’s business as usual for Lamar Jackson off the field. Although Jacksonā€™s future in the NFL is secure, he’s trying to create things on the side, so following his football career, he’ll have plenty of ways to keep busy.

See his trademark filing below:

According to trademark attorney Josh Gerben, Jackson has filed a new trademark application for ā€œLAMAR JACKSON ENTERTAINMENT.ā€

While there are no specific details about the type of entertainment products Jacksonā€™s future company will produce, the application does state his plans include a film and music production studio.
