Clyde Frazier Disrespects Al Horford By Saying ‘He Married Miss Universe’

Al Horford’s wife got a nice shout out during a game. Announcers have a tough job to do, they always have to fill the airwaves  while calling the game. Al Horford is a guy you normally don’t shower with too much praise. He’s way past his prime, and has been pretty much relegated to a mentor role with OKC.  With his peak playing in the past, Walt Frazier admires Al Horford’s game, but that’s not really why he likes him.

Frazier inadvertently disrespected Horford’s game by calling out his off the court game.

See the exchange:

Mike Breen: “Al Horford is a 5-time All-Star, All-NBA player”

Clyde Frazier: “That’s not what I admire about him”

Mike: “Why don’t you tell us again, Clyde”

Clyde: “He married Miss Universe”

Watch below:

Horford has been married to Miss Universe 2003, Amelia Vega, for 10 years now.

Vega won the honor of Miss Universe when she was 18 years old.  Frazier must really have a crush on Horford’s better half. Of course the comment was all in fun, but Horford can’t be too mad. He ended up with Miss Universe.
