Jeremy Lin Is Trying To Bring Linsanity Back To The NBA

Jeremy Lin is making his way back to the NBA. Well, maybe. It was reported today that former NBA phenom Jeremy Lin will be signing in the NBA’s G League. According to Shams Charania, Lin will be taking his talents to the Warriors’ affiliate in Santa Cruz.

Linsanity was on of the most insane memories I had as a sports fan. Watching this baby-faced, no-named guy from Harvard absolutely ball out for the New York Knicks was a sports story for the ages, and something that many people (myself included) won’t ever forget. I mean, check out some of Jeremy Lin’s highlights from the 2011-12 season.

After the Knicks, Lin bounced around the NBA. He spent time playing for the Rockets, Lakers, Nets, Hawks, and Raptors. While Lin could never quite live up to the hype after his jaw-dropping season with the Knicks, he’ll live in infamy forever. The highlight of his run in New York was when he dropped 38-points against Kobe’s Lakers.

The 32-year-old Lin spent last season playing for the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese CBA. He scored 22.3 points per game to go along with 5.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists.

We’ll see if Jeremy Lin can worked his way back to an NBA roster. I think we all need a little Linsanity in our lives right about now.
