Marquette Basketball Team Practiced In A NYC Park Prior To The Big East Tournament

The Marquette men’s basketball team had an eventful morning on Wednesday. They were slated to play against Georgetown in the first round of the Big East Tournament, but when the team woke up in New York, there was no court access for the morning walkthrough.

Luckily for Marquette, the weather in the Big Apple was beautiful, so they decided to do their pregame walkthrough at a local park.

Unfortunately for Marquette, the change of scenery did not help. Their up-and-down season was likely ended today when they got dominated by Georgetown 68-49. Marquette was chucking up bricks all game long, and never quite found their rhythm.

Maybe Marquette’s fate would have been a little better if they had court access this morning? Probably not, but at least they’ll have an excuse for why they performed so poorly in their biggest game of the season.
