Social Media Convinced Ignorant Quote About Lamar Jackson Came From Jack Del Rio

It hasn’t been the best offseason for Washington Commanders defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio and his popularity.

After making comments about the January 6 riots, Del Rio was fined by Commanders head coach Ron Rivera, and forced to issue an apology.

This week, anonymous quote that an NFL defensive coordinator was going viral because people were convinced it came from Jack Del Rio.

Jack Del Rio was given the ‘racist’ label after his comments earlier in the offseason, and this quote would be pretty on brand with his recent rhetoric.

But it’s hard to say that one anonymous coach would be Del Rio, even if it’s funny to speculate.

Either way, Jack Del Rio finds himself as one of the most hated men in the NFL right now, and it’s hard to imagine he’s going to make it back from his recent fall from grace.
