Kyrie Irving Getting Trashed After Lobbying With Fans To Take Their Masks Off

Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving is no stranger to controversy. In fact, he kind of welcomes it in every situation he’s ever been in.

So it’s no real surprise that Irving is taking a seemingly unpopular stance when it comes to the protective masks people wear against COVID-19.

On Wednesday, Irving took to social media to ask people to stop wearing their masks because it was time to have “no fear”.

Immediately, fans who assumed Kyrie Irving was talking about COVID protocols trashed him over the “masks” tweet.

Now, we’ll likely never know if Kyrie Irving was talking about the masks used to prevent COVID from spreading, or if he was just using some sort of metaphor.

Either way, he had to know that he was going to create a whole stir with this post.

Kyrie Irving just never seems to be able to read the room all too well.
