Antonio Brown Officially Signs One-Year Deal with Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Antonio Brown finally gets another shot to play in the NFL. AB officially signed his contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday morning according to sources. It is a one-year deal for a base salary of $750,000 with incentives that could push the value to $2.5 million.

Brown can earn $750,000 if the Buccaneers win the Super Bowl and has three $250,000 incentives for 45 receptions, 650 yards and six touchdowns during the regular season. For Brown to earn the individual incentives, the Buccaneers must make the playoffs, the source told ESPN.

Head coach Bruce Arians explained why he’d bring in Brown.

“Injuries,” Arians said. “I mean, we got two Pro Bowl receivers [Mike Evans, Chris Godwin]. We went to Chicago with none of them, really. They were hurt. And here’s a guy that’s a Pro Bowl type player . . . We’re on the hook for nothing in this deal. He screws up one time, he’s gone. I don’t think he will because he wants to play.”

Tom Brady is competing versus Father Time, and we know who’s going to  win that fight.  Might as well surround TB with as many weapons as possible.

And Antonio Brown is an amazing little weapon.
