Miles Bridges Apologizes For Hitting Fan With Mouth Piece Following Play-In Loss

Miles Bridges and the Charlotte Hornets had a rough go on Wednesday night.

During the team’s play-in game against the Hawks, the Hornets were outclasses early and often — losing the affair by a score of 132-103.

As Miles Bridges was walking off the floor after the game, a fan appeared to be sarcastically waving “bye” to him, when he snapped, chucking his mouth piece in the fans direction.

Unfortunately, he appeared to make contact with a teenage girl close by when airing his frustration.

Shortly after the move, Miles Bridges took to Twitter to call his actions “unacceptable”. He would also ask to get in contact with the “young lady” who he appeared to hit.

Miles Bridges will likely receive a fine for his mouth piece toss, and hopefully he can make amends with the fan he hit.

Obviously, we’ve seen a lot of instances over the past year where fans overstep their boundaries, but it really doesn’t seem like this is one of them (unless I’m missing something.)

But, Miles Bridges is clearly upset that his season is now coming to a close, and he let his emotions get the best of him. Hopefully he uses it as a learning experience.
