Russell Wilson Explains How He Got Ciara

Russell Wilson is trending, and it has nothing to do with football.

Former NFL player Channing Crowder had some interesting things to say about Ciara and Russell Wilson’s relationship. According to the New York Post, the former Miami Dolphin said on his podcast, The Pivot, that the singer is only with Wilson for his money.

“If Russell didn’t have that bread Ciara wouldn’t be with him,” Crowder said in a clip of the episode circulating on social media on Twitter. “Ciara, she has a good situation, but you don’t leave Future for Russell Wilson.”

He doubled down on his sentiments as fellow hosts Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark made counter claims, saying that “women love peace.”

“It’s a type,” Crowder rebutted. “Everybody has a type… and I love him on the field but he’s f**king square.”

Russell is a lot smoother than he looks, plus he’s one hell of a QB. It’s really not that surprising an NFL star would date someone of Ciara’s caliber.

Russell will let his play do the talking this coming season in Denver.
