NC State’s DJ Funderburk Got Puked On During Opening Night Game

There are fouls, flagrant fouls and then there’s getting puked on. NC State forward DJ Funderburk finished with 10 points and two rebounds in 21 minutes against Charleston Southern on Tuesday’s opening night. Not only that, he also finished the game getting thrown up on.

The opposing player who yakked on him was trying to get out of the game, when he turned and blew some chunks on Funderburk’s shoulder. In the video you can hear him react to the puking.

A pretty gross situation, and one I’ve personally never seen happen on the hardwood in an NC State game or any other. There’s a first time for everything, it is still 2020.
