Philadelphia Flyers’ Jakub Voracek Slams ‘Weasel’ Reporter During Presser

Philadelphia Flyers right wing Jakub Voracek has had enough of one of the team’s beat writers. Columnist Mike Sielski has been critical of the Flyers in the past, and Voracek has had enough. After the Flyers beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, Sielski asked a question, and Voracek wasn’t having any of it.

“Doesn’t matter Mike, you’re gonna write f*****g s–t every time…I wasn’t even gonna answer your question, you’re such a weasel it’s not even funny,” Voraceck said.

Many are speculating on what Mike Sielski might have wrote to push Voracek over the edge. Sielski seems to think the hatred towards him stems from an article from October of 2019, when Sielski wrote about the Flyers firing Alain Vigneault as head coach.

Mike Sielski spoke more about Jakub Voracek unleashing on him.

I’ll continue writing columns/stories about the Flyers with the same approach I’ve always had: with a critical eye and by reporting before writing, praising them when I think they warrant it, criticizing them (sometimes sharply) when I think they deserve it. Thanks,” Sielski tweeted Friday night after Voracek tore him to shreds.

Jakub Voracek and Mike Sielski are going to have a long year together. The Flyers have opened their season 2-0, and appear to be one of the most exciting teams in the league.
