Video Shows Tyrese Maxey Throwing Seat Cushion After Being Frustrated With James Harden

Count Tyrese Maxey among the many Sixers players and fans fed up with James Harden.

Earlier in the Heat series, Maxey was seen leaving Harden’s side on the 76ers bench on several occasions, which led to speculation he didn’t want to deal with Harden anymore.

Now, a video is surfacing of Tyrese Maxey chucking a seat cushion after having a heated confrontation with James Harden.

Tyrese Maxey wasn’t the only Sixers player upset with James Harden, either. After the game, Joel Embiid admitted that the team didn’t get the guy they were expecting in Harden.

“Obviously, I’m sure since we got him, everybody expected the Houston James Harden, but that’s not who he is anymore,” he said.

After making the trade for James Harden, 76ers president Daryl Morey said he planned on offering the guard a max deal after the season. But now that Harden has clearly lost the locker room, it might be time to re-think the original plan.
