The Mitchell Trubisky story just goes from bad to worse. Not only was he drafted ahead of Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson. Not only was he benched earlier in the year for Nick Foles. Now there’s this.

Bears coach Matt Nagy spoke on Trubisky’s injury.

“He just got dinged up on that one play that we put him on and so he’s currently rehabbing things and just working on it that way,” Nagy said via NBC Sports Chicago. “It’s unfortunate, you know, and I know that he’s bummed out.”

So, now the Bears will be left with a struggling Nick Foles. there was some people who thought the Bears should go back to Trubisky as their starter if Foles continues to disappoint. That won’t be an option anymore.

Nick Foles and the Bears are scheduled to face the Titans on Sunday.
