LeBron James Responds To Lakers’ 4-Game Losing Skid

The Los Angeles Lakers are in dire need of the all-star break. The team has really struggled in the absence of Anthony Davis, who is expected to miss a month with an Achilles injury. The Lakers have dropped four straight games, including a loss to the Wizards at home. What they really need is some time to regroup. LeBron James addressed the state of the team after their most recent loss to the red hot Utah Jazz.

LeBron noted that the losing streak has been tough, but it is ultimately just a season for the Lakers.

“It’s a tough stretch for us,” LeBron James admitted after the loss. “But this won’t define who we will be for the rest of the season or the long haul.”

This is a fair takeaway for a team that is fresh off an NBA Championship. Losing Anthony Davis was a big blow. He provides a huge deal of the teams’ production on both sides of the ball. The Lakers have also been without their third-leading scorer in Dennis Schroder.

As LeBron James said, the Lakers will be fine in the long run. They have just four more games until the all-star break. Hopefully, they can get back on track prior to the break and then take that extended period of time to regroup.
