Fan Starts Petition To Remove Chris Webber From All TNT Broadcasts

Former NBA star Chris Webber is most definitely not a fan favorite in the TNT broadcast booth. Every time he calls an NBA basketball game he seems to be trending on social media, with many fans complaining about his analysis.

Well, one fan took it to the next level. Andre Gaskin started a petition to ban Chris Webber from all TNT broadcasts moving forward.

“Chris Webber has shown a total lack of care in regards to the fan experience while watching basketball. He is constantly off target in his analysis and makes bland jokes that couldn’t entertain a juvenile. It’s time the basketball community is better served. Enough of him destroying the NCAA Final Four and the NBA Playoffs, it’s time he is banished to broadcasting purgatory of community college basketball broadcasts. Join me as I attempt to save basketball on TNT!!!” the petition reads.

The comments on the petition also bash the former NBA player for how he calls a basketball game.

“Chris Webber sucks. That is all,” one comment said. “I debate whether or not to mute the TV whenever I hear Chris Webber’s voice on the broadcast. !!!! Just search “Chris Webber” on Twitter during an NBA broadcast, and you’ll see all you need to know,” another fan added.

I highly doubt TNT firs Chris Webber mid-season, but that won’t stop NBA fans from calling for him to be fired into the sun.
