Davante Adams Updated Status With Packers Revealed Amid Aaron Rodgers Drama

While Aaron Rodgers continues to suck the air out of the internet, Davante Adams is not being talked about very much.

Specifically his contract status.  The Green Bay Packers superstar receiver is set to become an unrestricted free agent. The Packers want to keep their Star receiver, not only because he’s truly a special talent, but because Aaron Rodgers reportedly will only return to the Packers if he stays.

According to Packers insider Tom Silverstein, there have been no conversations between Adams and the Packers since the season ended in January.

“If QB Aaron Rodgers is waiting for a Davante Adams deal to get done before making a decision, he’ll be waiting a bit. There have been no discussions between the #Packers and Adams since the season ended, a source said. Team has until March 8 to decide whether to use franchise tag”

During his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” today, Aaron Rodgers spoke about Adams and said he thinks Adams and the Packers both want to work something out to keep their relationship intact.
