Antonio Brown Retired From The NFL On Twitter After Previously Retiring From The NFL On Twitter

There have been a lot of rumors that swirled around Antonio Brown’s possible return to the NFL. He was at one point attached to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers before Bruce Arians shot that down. Brown was also reportedly looked into deeply by the Seahawks after he also worked out with them. But none of these things have resulted in a roster spot for Brown after he flamed out of the Raiders and Patriots rosters. If we’re to believe Antonio Brown’s Twitter, the result may actually be: Antonio Brown retired.

This Twitter retirement follows Brown’s last declaration of retirement after the Patriots released him last fall:

It’s kind of a sad end for Antonio Brown if this is it. He never found his footing (and perhaps his sanity) after he forced his way out of Pittsburgh. And he’s gone from one of the most sure-handed and sure-thing receivers in the game to someone who retires on social media as often as Conor McGregor does when he wants to negotiate a new UFC deal.

It’ll be a bummer if AB’s last memory is him completely flaming out of the league. But we, and especially Steelers fans, can remember some of the good times that may be forgotten by his late-career missteps. It’s hard to argue Antonio Brown wasn’t one of the best receivers to lace them up:
