Brett Favre Reacts to Aaron Rodgers’ Packers Holdout

While most fans of the Packers are struggling to find peace this offseason, with many of them totally freaking out, former Green Bay Packers gunslinger isn’t panicking quite yet. The Hall of Fame quarterback seemed unconcerned over the situation brewing in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers, who is currently holding out from mandatory training camp.

Favre spoke about Rodgers situation on his podcast.

“No one should be surprised,” Favre said on his podcast, “Bolling with Favre” on Tuesday. “In the big picture, I don’t know what’s gonna happen. … It’s not the first time someone’s missed a minicamp or an OTA or a mandatory participation, whatever that may be. But you shouldn’t be surprised.”

Favre continued:

“I think the question really comes down to, can the issue or issues be fixed between Aaron and, we assume, Brian Gutekunst, the GM. Can those be resolved? … Or is it deeper than that?”

“Now, you’re really kinda studying what Jordan does best,” Favre said. “What he does similar to Aaron, how that relates to how I call the game in the future. Do I do certain formations and plays that Aaron ran well because Jordan seems to run these well, or is he a totally different quarterback?

“That’s a question that they gotta answer and answer very quickly.”

If anyone knows what Rodgers is going through, it has to be Favre.

Oh how the tables have turned.
