Kevin Durant’s Brother Fires Back at Skip Bayless Over Trade Request

The Brooklyn Nets are looking for a lot in exchange for star forward Kevin Durant after he requested to be traded last week.

Some feel Durant should stick it out in Brooklyn. Tony Durant, the brother of Brooklyn Nets star forward Kevin Durant, took to Instagram this week to fire back at FOX Sports personality Skip Bayless, who had suggested that the Nets should not grant KD’s trade request.

“Uhhhhhhh skip the hell with that and you,” wrote Tony.

NBA insider Shams Charania thinks that the Nets could hang to both Kevin and  Kyrie Irving into the start of next season if they can’t get what they want in return.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported Thursday that the “bidding war isn’t really hot” as teams around the league are not looking to give everything away in order to get the NBA star.

The minute Durant requested a trade, the Nets lost any leverage they may have had.
