While very few people actually expected Adam Silver and the NBA to suspend LeBron James for striking Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart in the face, the league decided to step in.
Not only will LeBron be suspended, but the league announced on Monday afternoon that the Lakers star will be out tomorrow for the TNT game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Isaiah Stewart was fined two games for losing his mind after being struck by LeBron James.

I'm shocked Adam Silver had the balls to suspend Bron before a national televised game against the Knicks.

LeBron James maintains that his contact with Isaiah Stewart was incident. But looking at the slow-mo version of the play, it looks like his intentions weren’t great.
Now, it’s being reported that James has been trying to reach out to Stewart to apologize for leaving him hurt on Sunday.
“I’m told LeBron James did try to track down Isaiah Stewart’s number post game to apologize again and let him know it was an inadvertent hit,” Shams Charania told ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’
It was definitely a surprise when Adam Silver announced he was actually punishing LeBron James. But it feels like the right move.
