A Certain NBA Pundit Scolds LeBron over His Comments on Winning Toughest Finals

LeBron made a bold claim that he won the two most difficult NBA Finals, and certain analysts did not agree.

Skip Bayless, arguably the most popular LeBron-hater on television, took another segment of his FS1 show to call out LeBron’s thoughts on his championship victories.

LeBron was referring to winning championships in 2016 and 2020. Winning in 2016 required overcoming a 3-1 deficit against the most winningest regular season team, the Golden State Warriors. While in 2020, despite only defeating a fifth-seeded Miami Heat led by two All Stars, LeBron and the Lakers won a title in the Orlando bubble.

Winning a championship in the bubble divided NBA fanbases. Some argue it’s an asterisk title with elongated rest and no fans where favored teams like the Bucks and the Clippers fell flat in the playoffs.

But it’s also a double edged sword. Players having an extended vacation means teams were able to be healthier than ever. Paul George also spoke out about mental health and how the bubble affected players being away from their families and loved ones.

Overall no one will decide on the difficulty of the 2020 bubble championship, but Skip Bayless certainly will try to persuade fans in his conquest to dismantle LeBron’s legacy.
