Former US soccer star Hope Solo is still under hot water for a troubling arrest from earlier in the year.
After Solo was reportedly found passed out in her car with children in the back, she plead guilty to a DWI earlier in the week.
She called the situation the ‘worst mistake of her life’.
âItâs been a long road, but Iâm slowly coming back from taking time off. I pride myself in motherhood and what my husband and I have done day in and day out for over two years throughout the pandemic with two-year old twins,â Solo wrote in a statement. âWhile Iâm proud of us, it was incredibly hard and I made a huge mistake. Easily the worst mistake of my life. I underestimated what a destructive part of my life alcohol had become.
According to the Forsyth County district attorneyâs office, Hope Solo will receive a sentence of 30 days in rehab, along with a suspended driver’s license for 24 months.

Hope Solo has been retired for several years now, and appears to be open about her struggles with alcoholism.
Now, she finds herself on a path to recovery, and hopefully she won’t be making any mistakes of this nature in the future.
We’re all hoping for the best for Hope Solo.
