Bill and Ted Are Back In “Bill & Ted Face The Music” And They Have A Message That Everyone Needs To Hear

The newest teaser trailer for Bill & Ted Face The Music just dropped and it looks … excellent! (air guitar solo).

Remember a time when people still had the ability to go to the theater to watch movies? The third installment of the Bill and Ted saga, Bill & Ted Face The Music, is here to help us get excited about the thought of being able to do that again. The Wyld Stallions are back, now with daughters! Actor Alex Winter (Bill) tweeted this morning to help spread the hype.

It’s no coincidence that the trailer dropped today as June 9  is known by fans as Bill and Ted day. It’s a callback to the original film, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (69, dudes!). To some, today is better recognized for being national sex day, but I don’t know how much of that is going on right now as we are technically still supposed to be social distancing.

At this point, we don’t know too much about the plot of Bill & Ted Face The Music. What we do know is that William Sadler will be returning as Death, Bill and Ted have daughters, and Kid Cudi is making a cameo. Maybe Bill and Ted will go back in time and find a way to prevent the spread of coronavirus — saving sports, music and businesses everywhere (and thousands of lives, that’s probably important too). How cool would it be if Bill and Ted traveled inter-dimensionally and had encounters with some of Keanu Reeves’ past characters: Neo, Jack Traven, Johnny Utah, John Wick, and your favorite fictional quarterback, Shane Falco. Maybe that will be the plot for the next film.

Bill & Ted Face The Music is set to hit theaters on Aug. 21, but who knows if we will actually be able to view it on the big screen at that point in time. Several summer blockbusters have already been delayed. Regardless, Bill and Ted have a message that everyone needs to hear right now: be excellent to each other … and party on dudes!
