Arch Manning’s High School Coach Says One College Has Made The Strongest Impression

Top 2023 quarterback prospect, Arch Manning, has created all the buzz over his recruitment.

The latest heir to the Manning throne is still finishing his high school career, but has been courted by all the top college football programs.

Even after it was reported that he was choosing between Alabama and Georgia, it came out that he was still considering wild cards Virginia and LSU.

While he remains wide open in his decision, Arch Manning high school coach, Nelson Stewart, said that LSU head coach Brian Kelly has made the strongest impression on the young QB.

“No coach has come through and made as strong of an impression as Brian Kelly. He has a humility and authenticity when you meet him. You feel like you’ve known him forever,” Stewart told ESPN.

Arch Manning’s current coach would go on to lament all the other factors that make LSU such an appealing option for a big prospect.

An LSU offer is the prestigious offer. When kids get that offer, it’s very, very special. LSU has the tradition, facilities and recruiting the camaraderie. It’s a very special place. It does sell itself. When LSU football is rolling, I don’t think there’s anything as exciting in the state of Louisiana.”

Obviously, Nelson Stewart could be speaking with his own, personal, bias when hyping up Brian Kelly and LSU. But the fact that Arch Manning remains intrigued by the university isn’t nothing. And it certainly appears as though the Tigers have a real shot at winning the sweepstakes.

For now, though, Arch Manning is wisely taking his time as he goes through the long recruitment process.
