Football fans have no chill.
Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson recently accepted an honorary degree at Dartmouth College, and he was asked to give the commencement speech at graduation this past weekend. Of course the internet once again spilled over into the real world, and some football fans couldn’t help themselves. As he made his way to the stage, Wilson was heckled by a fan who shouted out “Malcolm Butler!”
Of course Malcolm Butler picked off Wilson with a goal-line interception Wilson threw in the Seattle Seahawks’ loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLIX years ago.

It’s not on Russell Wilson as much as it’s Pete Carroll’s fault, assuming he had the final say in the play call. Who knows where Russell would be if he had only handed off the ball to Marshawn Lynch. He very well could still be playing in Seattle. That’s why sports is the ultimate Mr. Destiny, if you get the reference.
That’s why we play the Game!
