Julian Edelman Had Buccaneers Fans Excited With Epic April fools Day Move

Julian Edelman is getting in on the fun during April fools Day.

Earlier in the offseason, video of the former receiver catching passes from Tom Brady led many to believe he was going to come back to join Rob Gronkowski and Brady on the Bucs for one last dance.

On April fools Day, Julian Edelman leaned in to the speculation to joke about signing a one-year deal with Tom Brady’s Buccaneers.

Fans immediately fell for the Julian Edelman joke.

The fans who fell for the Julian Edelman post clearly didn’t see the “April fools” in small print in the bottom right hand corner of the post.

After suffering several different serious injuries during his career, Edelman appears to be very content stepping away as one of the best postseason receivers ever to play the game.

You’d have to think Tom Brady has done some lobbying to get him back, though.
