Jerry Jeudy’s Girlfriend Reportedly Had An Ask Following His Arrest

Denver Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy found himself in a lot of trouble this week.

On Thursday, it was announced that Jeudy had been arrested and jailed for a tampering charge with a domestic violence booster involved, as well.

At first, the Broncos said they were gathering more information on the matter.

Now, it’s been revealed that Jerry Jeudy’s girlfriend asked for the charges against him to be dropped.

Per Sports Illustrated:

“The girlfriend of Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy asked a judge on Friday to dismiss a misdemeanor case against him stemming from a dispute between them.

The woman, who has a one-month-old child with Jeudy, told Judge Chantel Contiguglia that she did not feel threatened during the incident and made contact with authorities to “monitor the situation,” The Denver Post reported.”

A judge had allowed Jerry Jeudy to be released from prison, but for now, a final decision has not been made by the judge assigned to the case.

“You know, we’ll look into all the stuff and make sure we do the right stuff,” Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said. “We’re here to support him and move on from this.”

Jerry Jeudy is entering his third NFL season and has been expected to make a huge leap with Russell Wilson now as his quarterback instead of the Teddy Bridgewater/Drew Lock combination.
