Jadeveon Clowney Is Back With the Browns Because Baker Mayfield is No Longer Starting QB

Shots fired at Baker Mayfield.

Defensive star Jadeveon Clowney is once again going to be playing in Cleveland, as he’s returning to the Browns on a one-year, $11 million contract. The reason he decided to return is pretty funny, and for whatever reason, he wasn’t too keen on playing on a team that had Baker Mayfield as its QB.

According to 247Sports reporter Brad Stainbrook, Clowney is heading back to the Browns because Baker Mayfield is not the starting QB anymore. As we all know Deshaun Watson is the new QB1 in Cleveland.

The Baker Mayfield disrespect tour continues to roll on. Not only is Baker stuck on the Browns, there is absoutely not one single team that would be willing to trade for him. It might get a little awkward when Baker has to possibly start when Watson gets suspended, but that will make for great content.

Clowney is already feeling like a great fit in Cleveland.
