Leaked Video Shows Police Officers Ordering Browns Receiver Rashard Higgins To Stomp Out His Weed During Traffic Stop

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Rashard Higgins appears to have dodged a bullet.

The Cleveland Browns have had enough problems with COVID this week, and they definitely don’t need trouble with the law. Higgins and a couple teammates were pulled over for drag racing on Monday. While they were given citations, it looks like Rashard Higgins could have been in some more trouble.

Cops found some weed in his car, but had the receiver stomp it out. Check out the video.

“You guys are celebrities around here,” the cop tells Higgins. “You don’t want that hitting the news.”

The cop does write up the Browns receiver for drag racing, but it looks like he really got let off the hook for having a joint in his pocket.

Honestly, kind of a bro move by this police officer. The Browns are in the playoffs for the first time in a very long time, and the cop knows it would be bad for them, and for Higgins, if they were to cite him for having marijuana on him.

We’ll see if anything comes of this situation, as the video has gone viral. For now, it looks like Rashard Higgins got away with one.
