Look: Cardinals Added Telling Detail In Kyler Murray’s Contract Extension

Are the Arizona Cardinals worried about Kyler Murray’s preparation away from the football field?

After a contentious, public contract dispute, the Cardinals ended up folding — signing Murray to a massive contract extension last week.

After officially signing his new contract, it was revealed that the team added an interesting detail in the deal that requires the QB to do (at least) four hours of preparation work away from the football field.

Ian Rapoport would go on to explain that the clause wasn’t really meaning Kyler Murray doesn’t do at least four hours of work on his own, but more a re-affirmation that he was putting in the work.

However, that didn’t stop fans from making their own conclusions.

Nevertheless, the Cardinals didn’t have much of a choice than to pay up for Kyler Murray. If they’re going to to make the next step into becoming a contender, their best chance is with Murray under center.

Now, all eyes will be on the young QB, with the expectation that he’ll take the next step into superstardom this season.
