Riverdale’s Vanessa Morgan Welcomes Baby Boy After Michael Kopech Break Up

‘Riverdale’ star Vanessa Morgan and White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech are now parents.

Kopech filed for divorce from Morgan back in June of 2020, but sources told Page Six that, ““Vanessa had the baby, and Michael is with her as well. They’re both thrilled.”

Morgan announced the news that she was pregnant on her Instagram page back in July.

“Exciting news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January. This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!!”

Vanessa Morgan elaborated on her joy of becoming a parent.

“Lil one you were made with so much love and already exude a light so strong it warms my belly. Thank you God for this blessing. I’m just so happy.”

According to US Weekly, Michael Kopech was by Morgan’s side for the birth of their child. Kopech opted out of last season during the COVID-19 pandemic, but will re-join the White Sox for this upcoming season.

The White Sox have some of the best young talent in the entire MLB, and will be expected to make a significant leap in 2021.

Congrats to Michael Kopech and Vanessa Morgan on the birth of their child!
