LeBron James Had Invitations from Cowboys and Seahawks

LeBron playing in the NFL was almost a reality. NBA superstar LeBron James has often flirted with the idea of playing professional football. LeBron did play some tight end in high school, and that would be his natural position if he ever decided to give the NFL a real go.  Apparently at some point,  LeBron could have tried out with the Seahawks and Cowboys, who both personally invited him to try out.

Sideaction’s Latest:

Obviously he didn’t accept either offer, but he told The Athletic he “seriously considered” the Cowboys’ invitation. During that time, he even begun practicing routes.

“I would have made the team,” James told The Athletic. “I would have tried out, but I would have made the team. One thing about it, I don’t mind working for something, so if I would have had to try out for the Cowboys or the Seahawks, or if I’d have stayed home and went back home to Cleveland, I’d have tried [out], but I would have made the team. I just know what I’m capable of doing on the football field. Especially at that age.”

Apparently James’ camp was not a fan of him trying to pursue football,  so they squashed the idea.

You just know LeBron would  have turned into one hell of a football player.

What could have been. . .
