Clear Favorite Has Emerged For Starting Job in Carolina

Looks like Carolina is inching closer to figuring out their QB.

And now there’s reportedly one clear favorite for the Carolina Panthers starting quarterback job. According to reports from the NFL Network, the job is going to go to Baker Mayfield. Mayfield was traded from Cleveland to Carolina this offseason. He’s competing with Sam Darnold for the starting spot, and all indications are it’s Baker’s job to lose.

Now it appears Darnold is on the trade block.
