Bruce Arians Opens Up About His Relationship With Tom Brady

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians responded to remarks stating that his relationship with QB Tom Brady was soured and that the two didn’t see eye-to-eye on things.

Arians told NFL insider Steve Wyche that “I have no clue where it comes from,” adding that “Tom and I have a great relationship.”

Arians shut down any talk that he and Brady might have had a rocky relationship after Brady retired pre-maturely.

This whole off-season for the Bucs has been wild. Tom Brady announced his retirement early on after the Bucs were eliminated, which then lead to many fans wondering what they would do at QB for the future.

Brady then went back on what he said and came out of retirement announcing his comeback on selection Sunday of the March Madness teams.

The team was then able to sign players as the Brady-effect was in full force such as the team resigning WR Chris Godwin and RB Leonard Fournette.

With all that in mind, some analysts like Skip Bayless still believe that Brady may still make his way to Miami in a package deal with former Saints coach Sean Payton.

Bayless talked in length about the potential of all this still happening even though there seems to be many hoops to jump through.

The Brady situation is no doubt a weird one. To retire so soon after the end of the season then to waffle and come back less than two months later?

Now I don’t think Brady is going anywhere aside from Tampa Bay, but Bruce Arians seems like he could be on the hot seat if BA is just downplaying the off-season rumors.

Wouldn’t it be something to see Sean Payton come in to Tampa Bay to coach with Brady? Oh boy, what a story that would make!
