Report: Lakers Players Grew Tired Of LeBron James’ Antics During Season

LeBron James and the Lakers have to be relived that their disastrous season is finally over.

But now that the team is no longer together, some of the dirt from throughout the tumultuous season is beginning to leak. In one report, it’s being said that some players on the Lakers grew tired of LeBron and his negative body language throughout the season.

While social media blew up with LeBron James negative body language throughout the season, it evidently wore on his teammates, as well.

Per LA Times:

“Midway through the season, players began to notice James’ body language after poor Westbrook play, an on-court sign of recognition that his and the Lakers’ plan wasn’t going to work. Some Lakers players were bothered by how regularly James’ shoulders would slump and how his head would hang after botched opportunities to score or defend.”

LeBron James spoke to the media after the Lakers parted ways with head coach Franck Vogel. When asked if he felt his future would be in LA, he deflected.

“I know it’s out there, but myself and [agent] Rich [Paul] can’t even begin to talk to [GM] Rob [Pelinka] and the front office because of the collective bargaining agreement. When we get to that point, we’ll see,” he said via NY Post.

Now, LeBron James will likely take some time away from basketball, maybe enjoy the postseason without participating for the first time in a while, and figure out his future somewhere down the line.
