There’s no love lost between Kyrie Irving and Bostonians.
During Game 1, Kyrie gave the Celtics fans the double bird salute which resulted in him being fined $50,000. Of course, Kyrie didn’t do this unprovoked, as he received a flurry of taunts throughout the game that had him wanting to show some emotion.
Game 2 Kyrie kept things in check, apparently he wasn’t looking to get fined.

Now the hate for Kyrie is happening at Fenway. During a recent Red Sox game, the fans began to chant “fuck Kyrie.” The Boston faithful really don’t like them some Kyrie.

The feud between Kyrie Irving and Boston will take a break as the Celtics head to Brooklyn for Game 3. We’ll see if the Nets can even make their way back to Beantown down 2-0.
