No. 1 tennis player, Novak Djokovic, showcased his basketball skills at his charity tennis exhibition in Serbia. Djokovic then went to Twitter to challenge the great LeBron James to a game of 1-on-1 on the hardwood. LeBron did not take long to answer the call.
Ha! Iβm going to say I think you are!! Beautiful follow-thru on that shot buddy! πͺπΎππΎπ https://t.co/fMUocbVMRL

I guess when you are such a dominant player on the tennis court you have to look elsewhere for challenges. Last year we saw the Serbian tennis star try his hand at sumo wrestling and now he wants to step on the basketball court with LeBron for a game of 1-on-1. If we have learned anything about Djokovic it is that he is obviously unafraid of any kind of size disadvantage. While the tennis star is receiving praise for his smooth jumper, he is also under fire for his poor judgment in a time of a worldwide pandemic.
The coronavirus has taken just as big a jab at tennis as it has any other major sport. Wimbledon has been canceled and other grand slam tennis tournaments have been postponed. In light of it all, Djokovic has persisted and continues to host his charity tennis exhibition in Serbia. Tennis stars Grigor Dimitrov and Borna Coric have been participating in the event and have now tested positive for COVID-19. This has led to Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios bashing Djokovic and the organizers of the event for their carelessness.
π€¦π½ββοΈπ€¦π½ββοΈπ€¦π½ββοΈ Boneheaded decision to go ahead with the βexhibitionβ speedy recovery fellas, but thatβs what happens when you disregard all protocols. This IS NOT A JOKE. https://t.co/SUdxfijkbK

Tennis bad boy Nick Kyrgios is the last player I would normally praise for his leadership, but he is spot on with this one. Djokovic claimed in an interview that all health regulations were being followed at his event, but the tennis players coming from outside of the country appear to be the ones carrying the virus, especially those coming from the United States. Sports fans just can’t seem to find a winning lane and many of the athletes are not helping the cause. Baseball is doomed, football and basketball seem more unlikely by the day, and now tennis looks like it too has been consumed by the COVID-19 tornado.
I never thought I would say this, but thank God for NASCAR. I need something to give me my gambling fix, so I guess I have no choice but to saddle up next to Alvin Kamara on the NASCAR bandwagon. Feel free to join, as it doesn’t look like it’s going to run out of room any time in the near future.
