Report: People Inside Packers Organization Don’t Believe Aaron Rodgers Can Win In Playoffs

Following the spectacle that was last offseason, will Aaron Rodgers finally leave Green Bay this time around?

After winning the MVP, Rodgers maintained that he had not made up his mind on his future yet. But perhaps the packers might be more willing to move on from their longtime quarterback.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, some people inside the Packers organization are becoming less convinced that Aaron Rodgers can win in the playoffs.

“For some reason he hasn’t been great all that often in the playoffs since the 2010 Super Bowl run,” Demovsky said. “He’s 7-9 in his past 16 playoff games. Yes, he’s still spectacular from September through December, but even some within the Packers organization wonder if he can still do it in January and February.”

Despite his below-average performance in the playoff loss to the niners, the notion that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t give the Packers the best chance to win in the playoffs is utterly ridiculous.

Sure, the Packers might’ve let this quote leak through the mainstream media. But at the end of the day, they’d have to know that they’d be in big, big trouble if they don’t have Aaron Rodgers under center next season.

We haven’t seen much out of young backup quarterback, Jordan Love, but by all indications, he’s not going to be a saving grace in the same way Rodgers was when they lost Brett Favre.

No matter what the Packers organization ‘wonders’ about Aaron Rodgers’ playoff failure, they’re going to be doing everything it takes to keep him in Green Bay for the long haul.
