Dak Prescott’s brother Tad continues to speak for his brother. Dak Prescott has remained silent regarding his contract negotiations with the Cowboys, but his brother Tad has been keeping busy on Twitter as a result. Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up Thursday, ESPN NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky said the Cowboys should hesitate to pay Prescott $40 million a year.
“Don’t pay good players great player money,” Orlovsky said. “Dak Prescott is a good player. If the Cowboys pay him $40 million a year, it would be a grave mistake. They need to look at a situation like the Rams or like the Philadelphia Eagles and go, Oh, can we learn from maybe paying a guy too much money, so to speak, and how can they not become those two teams in two years from now?”
Orlovsky even responded to Tad’s tweets, who called out Dan for always showing Dak hate.
When did I bad mouth him lol? I have never said anything other than “Dak is a good player” and I have heard he’s an amazing dude from basically everyone. That’s not bad mouthing lol

I don’t think he’s a game manager at all. Just think he’s a good player and not “great” that’s all boss. And to be candid I think there are 5-7 “great” QBs in nfl. At the end of the day—dudes beat the odds and going to earn a ton of money—remarkable by him

“I’ve never bad-mouthed Dak Prescott,” Orlovsky said. “I’ve literally said since day one that he’s a good player. That’s not bad-mouthing the guy I’ve said he’s a remarkable dude. Everything I hear about him is that he’s a great leader. But my job is to be as honest as what my eyes tell me to be. He’s not great. He’s not elite. He’s good.”

Why do we constantly hear from people “Dallas can’t win paying Dak 40MPY”.
Why not? The team went 13-3 his rookie year carrying contracts like Romo & Dez. Then 10-6 with dead money from those same deals.
It’s cap management. Be smart & you can win w/ paying a really good QB

So it seems based off Tad’s tweets, Dak is going to be in Dallas next year.
My guess is he’ll be there on the franchise tag.
Tad is definitely his brother’s keeper.
