Steph Curry Dethroned as Clutchest Player in NBA GM Survey

The annual survey from NBA General Managers occurred, and when asked who they would want taking the last shot of a game, Damian Lillard received 32 percent of the vote, the highest of any player.

Steph Curry came in second with 25 percent of the vote, followed by Kevin Durant (18%), Luka Doncic (11%) and Chris Paul (7%). Devin Booker and Jamal Murray also received votes.

Lillard is coming off a fantastic season where he averaged 30 points a game on top of a great bubble performance to lead the Trail Blazers to the playoffs. He was crowned NBA bubble MVP.

It’s a worthy crown for Lillard to hoist, with a plethora of game winners including two iconic shots in the playoffs against Houston and Oklahoma City. His consistent clutch play has been coined as ‘Dame Time.’

Steph Curry, before his injury, held 44 percent of the vote with no other player grabbing more than 11 percent.
