Russell Wilson fires back at Eli Manning.
During the Denver Broncos Sunday Night Football game, Eli Manning on ManningCast made a joke at Russell Wilson‘s expense by saying the team should have paid their punter $250 million instead of Russell. It was a funny quip and a good burn considering the how Russell Wilson and the Broncos offense is struggling to start out the season. Although they currently are playing winning football, at least from a record perspective. The Broncos are currently 2-1.
However Russell Wilson didn’t just shoot back, he brought some stats with him. Russell shot back with a roast of his own to Eli Manning this week. When asked about Eliâs comments he said,
âYou talking about Chad Powers? Iâm 3-0 against Chad Powers.â
Watch Russell react to Eli’s comment below:

In case you are unaware of the Chad Powers reference, you missed one of the funniest undercover skits in a while as Eli Manning transformed himself into a Penn State college walk-on named Chad Powers. The entire video is pretty funny,, so if you havenât seen it you wonât regret taking a look here.
Russell is not the kind of guy who easily forgets about comments like the one Eli made. He’ll find a way to use it, he always plays best with a chip on his shoulder.
Russell 1, Chad Powers 0.
