LeBron James Peeved on Not Being Regarded as One of the NBA’s All-Time Best Scorers

LeBron James is well on his way to becoming the All time leading scorer in NBA history.

He has Kareem Abdul’s record within his sights. In the latest episode of Uninterrupted’s The Shop series, LeBron opened up about not being regarded as one of the greatest scorers the league has ever seen.

“When they talk about the best scorers of all time, they never mention my name,” James said at the 18:10 minute mark of the episode. “It pisses me off.”

LeBron went on to note that he prefers getting his teammates involved rather than being a score-first player.

“I’m not like a natural scorer,” James explained. “I love getting my guys involved, I’ve always been that way.”

Despite the Lakers’ recent struggles, LeBron is scoring at his highest rate since 2009–10, putting up 28.8 points per game.

Of course he’s logging heavy minutes and doesn’t have Anthony Davis healthy.

LeBron is still about a season away from passing Kareem as the league’s all-time points leader, which may explain his increase in scoring this season.
