Trouble is already brewing in Laker land with Russell Westbrook.
The Los Angeles Lakers lost their second game of the season on Thursday night, falling to the Los Angeles Clippers 103-97. They are now 0-2 on the season. Lakers star Russell Westbrook finished the game with two points on 0-of-11 shooting from the field and 0-of-6 shooting from the three point line. It marked the first time in six years that he didn’t make one single field goal in a game.. Every time Westbrook stopped to shoot, fans could be hissing and booing.  That wasnât the lone interaction Westbrook had with fans on Thursday.
Westbrook could get seen getting into yet another confrontation with a fan.
Watch below:
Russell Westbrook was walking into the locker room and a fan yelled, âYou fuckinâ suck!â and Russ heard him and came back out and told him something along the lines of âsay that to my faceâ and then the fan went ahead and said it to his faceâŠđ„Ž pic.twitter.com/jGSUntPZdG

When will Lakers fans realize their teamâs failure is beyond just one player. How do they expect him to perform well when all they do is trash him 24/7?? https://t.co/y6POagu6CX

It feels like ever since Westbrook arrived in L.A it’s been bad blood between Russ and the fanbase.  While Westbrook was brutal in their second game of the season, he wasnât alone. The Los Angeles Lakers shot 35.1% from the field and 20% from three point land. Through two games, the Lakers have the worst ever three-point shooting percentage from any squad that has taken a minimum of 60 shots.
This situation is only going to get worse, and if they keep losing, expect the pressure to mount. Someone needs to figure out how to utilize the Lakers talent, or it’s going to be a very long season.
Itâs hard to see how this situation with Westbrook improves, but winning usually cures all.
