Paul Pierce and LeBron’s feud continues.
The former NBA superstar made an appearance on Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes podcast, and one of the most interesting parts of the conversation centered around the new Lakers team. Or some would say the “Old” Lakers team. Pierce brought back a bit of Lakers history into the discussion as he explained why he isn’t too impressed with this current Lakers team:
“This team is really giving me that Karl Malone, Gary Payton when they were with Kobe [Bryant], that kind of feel,” Pierce said via Lakers Nation.
You definitely never want to hear that comparison.
Time will tell if Paul Pierce is right about the Lakers.
But after one game, he’s dead on.
