Mark Cuban Gets Into Political Twitter Beef With John Legend

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and singer John Legend are trending, and it’s all because of a Twitter spat they had today.  The 62-year-old billionaire kicked off the conversation with a post: “For those considering donating to Reps or Dems in the Georgia Senate run-offs, can you please re-consider and donate that money to your local foodbank and organizations that can help those without food or shelter? Lets put Americans in need above Politics,” he wrote.

The 41-year-old singer then wrote back, writing: “I get that politics is annoying and contentious, but the bottom line is that the Senate flipping would be far more impactful than a food bank donation. We need massive stimulus and aid to individuals and small businesses. Government needs to do this. Charity isn’t sufficient.”

“That being said, I’ll be doing both,” he also added.

Both sides make strong points and the exchange is more interesting debate than it is your typical Twitter fight. Whether you agree with him or not, Mark Cuban never holds back, you really don’t want to get him started on Twitter. At what point does Cuban decide to throw his hat in the ring for the 2024 Presidency?
