Magic Johnson Is Getting Roasted For His Timing On Georgia Election Tweet

Former NBA great Magic Johnson has has a lot more time to figure out his social media presence after stepping down as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. However, he still doesn’t really seem to get the whole thing. Johnson is often behind, or out of tune with his tweets, and that was evident again today.

Magic tweeted an excited message about Democrats winning over the Senate on Wednesday afternoon.

“This is a huge win for the Democratic Party selecting two new Senators from the State of Georgia Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff! Congratulations and THANK YOU to the people of the great state of Georgia,” Magic tweeted out.

Obviously everyone was hoping to see Magic Johnson takes his message to the next step, and condemn all the violent MAGA protestors in Washington D.C right now.

Many Donald Trump supporters got violent during their “stop the steal” march in the Nation’s Capitol, which has left many people across the country feeling helpless.

2021 is off to a less than stellar start, and I’m not sure there’s anything Magic Johnson could do about it.
