LeBron James Reportedly Wanted To Go To The Knicks Before His Wife Gave Her Input

LeBron James appears to be happy in Los Angeles as he prepares to try to repeat as NBA Champions this season. But LeBron wasn’t always sold on going to L.A. in free agency. In fact, one report is indicating that he was really interested in going to New York, but his wife had other plans.

“We heard that LeBron wanted to come to New York. And I have really good sources about this, that he was thinking about coming to New York but that his wife wanted to be in Los Angeles,” Lisa Robinson of Vanity Fair said.

LeBron James belongs in a big market, and New York would certainly fit that criteria. Can you imagine if LeBron would have gone to New York and won a ring in that city? He’d be lauded as the GOAT by an entire Knicks fan base that has been craving a championship for many years now.

LeBron has showed very little signs of slowing down in his age-36 season. Maybe he can still make the move to New York before his career is over?
