Kyrie Irving Appears To Be Participating In A Social Justice Zoom Call Amid NBA Hiatus

Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving has been the talk of the NBA this week. The superstar went rogue, and nobody in the Nets organization appears to know what the deal is, or when he plans on returning to the team.

It was reported that Irving needed to take time after the Capitol Building riots last week. Evidently that’s the case, because Kyrie looks like he’s participating in a conference call with with a candidate for Manhattan DA.

If you look closely on the left, you can see Kyrie Irving checking in.

It’s a good thing that Kyrie Irving is using his time away from the game to try to make the world a better place and all, but he might want to tell his team what he’s up to.

Nets GM Sean Marks released a statement after Kyrie was seen at a party with some family members.

“We are aware of a video on social media featuring Kyrie Irving at a family gathering. We are reviewing the circumstances with both Kyrie and the NBA in order to determine compliance with health and safety protocols,” Marks said in a statement. “Kyrie remains away from the team due to personal reasons. A date of his return has yet to be finalized. In the meantime, we will continue to stay focused on our organizational goals.”

It remains unclear when Kyrie Irving will return to the NBA.
