Kyle Trask Is Getting Roasted After Throwing Three Interceptions In One Quarter

Florida quarterback Kyle Trask has had a phenomenal season, but if you only watched the first quarter of the Cotton Bowl, you might be confused to know that he’s a top draft prospect and Heisman finalist. Trask has been brutal against Oklahoma, and has thrown three picks in the first quarter. One of those picks even got returned by Oklahoma for a pick-six.

It has been a very uncharacteristic day for Kyle Trask. In fact, he hasn’t thrown 3 picks in a game all season. Social media has been quick to roast Trask for his abysmal first quarter.

In Kyle Trask’s defense, he is playing without a lot of his playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Receivers Trevon Grimes, Kadarious Toney, and All-American tight end Kyle Pitts all opted out of the Cotton Bowl. However, Oklahoma isn’t exactly know for their defense.

Trask had arguably the best season for any Florida Gator since Tim Tebow left. He led College Football with 4,125 passing yards and 43 pass TD this season. It was just the fourth time an SEC player threw for 4,000 yards in a season, and Trask had to deal with a shortened schedule due to COVID.

All year, Kyle Trask has answered the bell for Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators. They might need their Heisman finalist to pul another rabbit out of his hat if they’re going to have any chance to comeback and beat Oklahoma tonight.
