Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will most likely miss four games after coming in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. As long as Durant continues to test negative for the coronavirus, the soonest he can return is Jan. 12 against the Denver Nuggets. The Nets have also lost their last four of five games to drop below .500.

Kevin Durant's facing a 7-day quarantine under league protocols because of exposure to a positive COVID-19 case, sources tell ESPN. He had the coronavirus in May, continues to register antibodies and has tested negative in multiple recents tests. He'd miss 4 games in next week. https://t.co/HFHFKHolte

The NBA’s COVID-19 protocols unfortunately do not distinguish between players who have antibodies and those who do not. Hard to really know what’s going on.
